Tusker FC is looking to reduce the gap of 2 points against league leader, Gor Mahia when they will play this afternoon against a good form, KCB FC.

The Brewers were defeated by Nzoia Sugar and dropped important points which could have helped them to retain their lead in the league table standings ahead of their competitors Gor Mahia.

Head coach, Robert Matano has insisted that in order for them to be in the league title race they should take each game seriously. He told his players to play as a team in order to outshine their opponents.

Gor Mahia will also like to extend their lead to fifty-nine points when they will welcome Talanta FC at Kasarani Annex Stadium at 3 pm today.

Gor have just lost two games since the league resumed in November last year and they have shown how good they are under their head coach Jonathan Mckinstry.

Jonathan Mckinstry has urged his players to keep their minds going as they eye their 20th Kenyan Premier League title this season.

Yesterday, Gor Mahia was awarded a total of Ksh 800,000 by cabinet secretary Eliud Owalo. Ksh 725,000 of the total fund was meant for offsetting winning bonuses arrears for the last 5 matches Gor has played while the remaining amount was given to the club’s security team.

Nzoia Sugar FC

This is a good indication from the CS and it shows how much he values Kenyan football. It will be more impressive if the government and the FKF send money to all clubs.

After a draw of 2-2 against KCB, Aussems boys will be looking for a win to keep their hope of finishing in the top four when they will take on Bidco United this afternoon at Thika Stadium.

Nzoia Sugar will also be trying to maintain their winning mentality when they will visit Posta Rangers today.

Nzoia Sugar trashed Tusker FC in their last match and they will try to get all three points today to keep their hopes alive in the title race.
