However, according to the DCI detectives, it was impossible for someone to have been thrown out through the window of the bedroom given the small opening. If the window was the point where the 23-year-old Jeff fell from, he may have maneuvered across the tiny opening before falling to the ground floor.

The report further details that the 23-year-old was in a hangover and began to throw up in the house, making the host and his friends direct him to a room to recuperate.

Dj Fatxo’s friends, the two filmed on the ground floor on CCTV, were reported to have gone to check whether the Dj had passed out in his car, which occasionally occurred. This is after the Dj had taken long to return to the house after having escorted two ladies they were with back home.

DCI Officers at crime scene

DCI indicate that the duo was still in the lift when CCTV captured the interior designer falling from the 10th floor.

Dj Fatxo was earlier claimed to have snubbed viewing Jeff Mwathi’s body after he fell, this incident rose netizens’ eyebrows. However, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations revealed that Dj Fatxo refused to view the body because he fears dead bodies.

Findings on Jeff Mwathi’s Death

As reported, the latest findings of the probe into Jeff Mwathi’s death now rule out the possibility of the 23-year-old having been murdered. This report has disputed earlier claims that Jeff was murdered in the house of Dj Fatxo, a popular Kikuyu entertainer. The investigations suggest that Jeff Mwathi took his own life.

These new findings by the DCI detectives point to a possibility of Mwathi having fatally harmed himself, just like the findings of the initial investigations conducted by the officers at Kasarani police station suggested.
