The Man Who Murdered And Dumped Girlfriend In A Sack Exposed

Detectives from the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday, April 28, revealed CCTV footage showing how a chef who murdered his girlfriend in Ruiru, Kiambu county, disposed off her lifeless body in a sack at a gate of a residential building.

The statement released by the detectives indicated that the man was captured on CCTV walking into his house, packing the lady’s body, and covering it with a sack. Despite being his girlfriend, the butchered lady was also the victim’s co-worker at a restaurant in Kamakis.

The suspect then carried the body pretending it was luggage and disposed of it outside a gate of a rental building sited one kilometer away from his residence before walking away.

CCTV footage obtained by detectives showed the suspect carrying the suitcase at around 9:35pm before dumping it.”

The Girlfriend was Murdered at Night

According to the DCI detectives, the murderer executed his heinous act in the middle of the night, kept the dead body in his house, and went to the restaurant along Eastern Bypass where the duo worked and informed her boss that she had quit the job. The accused also informed his colleagues the two had moved out of their apartment and relocated to a new residential area.

“On the same morning, the suspect left the house and went to work as usual. He informed his colleagues that the deceased had quit her job and they would be moving out of their house to an unspecified destination.”

A landlord to whose apartment, on Tuesday, April 18, discovered the body dumped in a suitcase and covered with a sack and reported the matter to Gatongona police station.

Before the murder took place, according to the detectives, the lawyers moved in together five months ago but their work schedules differed, making them arrive home at different times despite working at the same place. The boyfriend always left work at 10 p.m. while his girlfriend arrived home at 3 a.m.

The day when the heinous crime was executed, the boyfriend allegedly his girlfriend, expressed concerns over her late-night duties at the restaurant which degenerated into a quarrel.
