After 16 matches played, Gaspo Women Fc is at the top of the Women’s league after tallying a total of Thirty-seven points. Out of 16 me, Gaspo women have won 11 of them, lost one, and drew 4 matches.

Gaspo Women Fc has scored 34 goals and conceded a meager 8 goals, the lowest in the league. Edward Githua who is the chairman of the team has attributed that the team’s impressive run this season is because of the defensive solidity.
Gaspo Women Fc Unbeaten Record
After they signed Jacob “Ghost” Mulee, the former Tusker, Yanga Fc of Tanzania, and Kenya’s national team Harambee stars, Gaspo Women Fc have never lost any game they have played under his management. Their determination to qualify for the third edition of the CAF women’s Champions League and that’s was the one reason why they appointed Jacob Mulee as their head coach.
Vihiga Queens are in the second position with a goal difference after they tallied a total of 37 points. Vihiga are also in the league title race and they are looking to win it for the second consecutive season after they did it last season.
Remember Vihiga Queens didn’t participate in this year’s CAF women’s champions league. This is because Kenya was suspended by FIFA from participating in any international competition and the suspension was lifted mid-season.
Vihiga Queens is a club that was formed in 2013 and after just four years they won their first league title in 2017 they won it in three consecutive seasons that is 2017,2018 and 2019 seasons.
Their head coach Boniface Nyamunyamu has said that they will try to win this year’s title for the second time for them to secure a chance to be in the CAF women’s champions league next season.
Ulinzi starlets are standing in position three with 32 points just five points behind the league leader Gaspo women.

Thika Queens who are having an awful season, are in position six after 15 matches they have played.
Kangemi Ladies and Kayole starlets are in the relegation zone and they might be dropped to the FKF Women Division 1 zone at the end of the season if they will not improve and start winning their games by taking them seriously.
This is the league that the investors are not investing. Our ladies are not supported and it is very easy for our ladies to look for good pastures outside Kenya.
