Mukami Kimathi, widow to the late Field Marshall Dedan Kimathi is dead. The veteran freedom fighter passed away on Thursday night, May 5, while receiving treatment at a hospital in Nairobi, where she was admitted after developing breathing difficulties. Her actual age at the time of her demise could not be verified, different sources provided different figures. Its however believed she was between the age of 96years and 101 years old.
