Only one in a million persons have stiff-person syndrome, which is an extraordinarily rare condition.
Muscle spasms, increased sensitivity to stimuli, and trunk and limb rigidity are its defining features.
Women are diagnosed with the condition twice as frequently as males. While symptoms can occur at any age, they commonly do so between the ages of 30 and 60.
Claudette commented on Celine’s Instagram video from December, in which the singer discussed her health struggles: “She has done it with composure. I am aware that she was restraining herself. It wasn’t done in a panic, through tears, or out of despair. She didn’t do much more than describe it.
She continued, “Rather than crying about her fate, I’m trying to send her positive vibes and to make sure that one day, she’ll be able to get back on stage.”
