A statement from Deputy County Commissioner Julius Arap Too has confirmed that two police officers were, on Saturday, April 29, beaten by civilians at Tharaka Nithi market centre. However, the identity of the police officers is yet to be confirmed, but according to Julius Too, the murdered officers are attached to the Kathwana police station and were killed in the Kanthanje market.
